Piano:

Having played the piano since the age of nine, Tana Denning loves engaging with piano students of all ages and skill levels. She is able to offer both traditional and Suzuki piano lessons. All lessons will include technique, music theory, aural training, music history, exploration of musical styles, improvisation, and sightreading.

 

Fiddle and Celtic Harp:

Alongside her extensive classical piano upbringing, Ms. Denning began to play the fiddle and Celtic harp (sometimes called lever harp or folk harp) while still in high school. Since then, she has taught at summer music festivals, performed for churches and nursing homes, played for dances, and busked on street corners. She is thrilled to begin offering lessons on these instruments to teens and adults on a lesson-by-lesson basis. So, dust off that fiddle from under the bed or pull out the harp you just found at an estate sale and have fun learning a bit more about these instruments at your own pace, on a flexible schedule!

 

Most lessons are currently taught online, using Zoom. Other online platforms (such as Skype, Google Duo, etc) can also be utilized if preferred by the student.

• 30 min. lesson: $27 with tuition at $108 per month

• 30 min. lesson: $20 a la carte
