Tana Denning is a native of Lansing, Michigan. Music has always been her passion beginning with piano lessons at the age of nine and violin/fiddle and harp as a teenager. Tana has her Master's degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Northern Iowa where she studied with Dr. Theresa Camilli, Dr. Dmitri Vorobiev, and Prof. Sean Botkin. While pursuing her master's degree, Ms. Denning taught private lessons, undergraduate and adult group piano courses. Her final research project was on the use of folk music at the piano. This love of folk music and learning by ear led her to study the Suzuki approach. In 2014, Ms. Denning became a Suzuki piano teacher.
